Studio Canals was founded around the 70th in Barcelona, Spain, by Miguel Canals. Directing an small group of painters, his main idea was to approach the masters work to a more wide audience, and although in the beginnings of those years the work was oriented to the reproduction of master pieces far beyond of what it was known as "commercial paintings"; he found a new path in the "birds and cherries" line in a classical and primitive inspiration.
After then, and until his dead in 1995, his life was devoted to promote the work from his studio and its creations. During all these years, its works have been exhibited in several countries, as exhibitions or auctions like in Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, France or the United States.
His sucessors, continue with the same philosophy, searching for new lines.
